Mould Fouling

What it is:

Disruption in mould performance due to sediment, buildup, etc.

Causes:

Improper cleaning and/or lack of coating performance.

Solutions:

Tire mould coatings are applied to the surface of tire molds to help minimise mould fouling, aid rubber flow, assist in the release of the tyre from the mould at the end of the cure cycle, and to enhance finished tyre appearance. When applied using our recommended technique, they will keep tyre moulds in service longer between cleanings.
