HERA™ History

HERA™ was developed as part of a project sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research to promote energy and resource efficiency in aluminum die casting. Chem-Trend was one of several industry leading companies to participate. The goal of the project was to increase overall energy efficiency by 15 percent, while at the same time reducing CO2 emissions and shrinking a manufacturer’s carbon footprint.
